How much money can I pay into my credit cards and bank account before I get asked the source of the money?
Im clearing UK debts and the money is coming from a remortgage of my wifes house in Rep of Ireland. I will be transferring approx £30,000 into the UK to clear debts. However lots of the debts are less than £4000 and I could pay them of with a couple of installments without raising any eyebrows.
My wife does not want the UK banks etc to start quizing or annoying her about her personal circumstances in Ireland etc.
I have a Buy To Let Mortgage….And would like to Remortgage..?
However here is a few issues:
01. My ‘Buy To Let’ Mortgage is with Mortgage Express
02. I have a fixed BTL Mortgage till March 10 fixed at 5.49%
03. They have written to me and said they will Waive the ERC
04. The Early Redemption Charge is £7500
05. However last yes, the tenants ran away
06. I also lost my job at the same time
07. So I missed payments for a few times,
08. However I caught up on these payments
09. I obtained a £101,000 mortgage with a purchase price of £125,000
10. Currently the 3 Bedroom First Floor Flat is valued at £150,000
11. After a drop from £185,000
12. The Current Rental Income is £775.00 Per Month
13. The Current Mortgage Payment is £464.24
So here are my questions:
01. Could I get a Re-Mortgage in this situation
02. I have been told, since I was late on Payments, I cannot
03. Even though I have a legitimate Reason, Will I get penalised
04. I do not want to take any money out of the Property does that help
Lastly, I can be contacted via email on: age@dr.com
for further information. Thanks in advance for all and any assistance

Remortgage -T buy another home?
Can you remortgage to buy another home, would your lender buy out the current mortgage?
I mean that we want to buy another home but with the downturn it would probably take for ever to sell our property and the new property that we would love to buy would probably be sold by then,so can you remortgage to buy this other home
My fiance refuses to put my name on the deed or mortgage for his house but I am named in his will?
he is in his 50s, i am in my 30s so is likely he will die before me. His ex-wife burned him quite badly in a divorce settlement several years ago – she left him for someone else and demanded half the value of the house. He re-mortgaged and gave her the settlement.
we are to be married soon and he refuses to put the house or mortgage in both of our names. I am, however, named in his will to get the house if he dies. Will this be a financial burden for me in any way? I want to know where I stand because it will be difficult as old age sets in if i am not prepared.
such a shame so many people worry about divorce. one thing I do worry about is death – after all, none of are spared that!

Mortgage and finance advice needed?
I need to re-mortgage my house to get my ex off the papers. She won’t leave the house unless her name is off and out of responsibility. It’s a complete nightmare living together.
Unfortunately, I had a 100% mortgage, but now my lender will only offer a 75% mortgage.
That means that I either
a) sell the house and pay up to £14k in fees and in the current market dip and loan crunch and risk living with my ex for a long time until we sell. OR
b) take out a £27k loan for the 25% deposit and pay it off over a 5 year period.
BUT I can only get a £10k loan, and can only find one friend willing to take out a £17k loan to help.
I need advice?
My mortgage lender, solicitors and mortgage adviser have tried, but have only led to the options above.
My ex can’t afford and doesn’t want the house.
Any other possibilities??
